Iphone 5 battery problem

I have iphone 5 got from my frnd some yrs back iit has battery problem and i checked it cover under battery replacement program ,but purchase country is japan nd i m using it in india ,does apple servce centre will replace it in another country than purchace country nd without bill without any cost

You could always ask them at the service center...

Here in Bombay, they check the IMEI to verify if the handset is authorised Indian market handset and then carry on warranty repairs. However, for the battery replacement program, they may have some other instructions. No harm in trying it out.
