iPhone 5 30pin Adapter

I have an Alpine stereo and the cable that's needed to play and charge my iPhone 4. I had to buy a small adapter to add to the cable to play my old iP4. When my iP4 broke, I upgraded to the iP5. Now that it has the Lighting connector, will the new adapters out work for audio connections? Or just charge it?

Yes... they will definitely charge the iPhone 5... and in many/most cases, they work perfectly with audio out, as well. My daughter uses the adapter on her Bose dock, but I have no specific knowledge or experience with Alpine stereos.
