Another dumb question; what is the difference between the picture that shows on your lock screen and the one that is the background behind your apps? On my old 3g my wallpaper was a picture of the dog and it only was shown when my phone was locked; it now is also the background behind my apps. On the 3g, the background was just black,

I was playing with the Apple wallpaper from above, and it will show when my phone is locked by my dog's pictures is still displayed behind my apps. I know I should know how to do this, but I am having trouble.

The 3g doesn't support different wallpapers between the lockscreen and the homescreen. On the newer phones though when you go to settings>wallpaper you can click on which picture you want to set, and then after you press set an option pops up to set it as Lockscreen, Homescreen or Both.

Duh!! I saw that but wasn't even thinking about the screens being called Lockscreen and Homescreen. Thanks for helping a non newbie out; I am embarrassed I didn't know that. I think it is time for a cup of coffee for me; my brain needs to be turned back on!
