iPhone 4S vs iPhone 5 (iMore Tread Stats)

I found this interesting.

At the time of writing this, the iPhone 5 tread (which has only been out for two-days), has over 10k posts.

However, the iPhone 4S which has been out for almost a year, only has 39k posts.

Did most 4S owners continue to post in the 4 thread? Is 5 seen as a complete and new phone that warrants posting a question about it in the 'Official' tread?

Interesting none the less.

Maybe you have more users eligible for upgrade that may have been coming from the 3g/3gs hence why more posts earlier?

Possible but so soon is a shock.

I think that people realized most were still hanging out in the 4 forum and realized posting there for help/tips would be better than posting in 4S.

Oh well...

It's posts though. More hype maybe... so more posts.

But thread wise, this section only has about 415 threads, while the 4S section has about 2500.
