iPhone 4s has it got Pedometer unctionality

Im need to get a pedometer, I'm still using an iPhone 4s and can't seem to find a clear answer to this question.Does the 4s have pedometer functionality?

I have read a few people say iPhone 4s battery will be effected more than 5s onwards but not sure how true this is.
