My boss has an iPhone 4S and today she asked me why her e-mails were in her inbox but showed the "To" as going to someone other than her. After clicking on the contact in the "To" area, we saw that her iPhone had her e-mail address listed under another contact in her phone. Obviously an easy enough solution, but we were wondering how this happened. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe it got changed at the source? vs on the phone locally?
