Hi Everyone
Just bought a secondhand iphone 4 today,i went to check the imea number and the reply was - this item has been replaced,will i still be able to use this phone?

Try and activate it and find out. It could have been a swap that was a bad phone that went back to the carrier or Apple and now a refurb that was replaced. If the imei is clean you should be able to activate it as long as you now have a plan set up with a carrier along with a data plan.

I have an iPhone 4, A1332 loaded with the latest Ios 7.04, with the following symptoms:

Occasional freezing, and /or reboot

Sometimes, and only sometimes, the back cover gets warm, when charging.

Now, today, switched it completely off, and connected the charger. It is prompting me to connect to iTunes, and is advising me to re-install ios.
I did re-instal a fresh copy, but still the same !

Is it the battery, or the hardware ?
