iphone 4 itunes error 1013

Can anyone help?
I am trying to restore my iphone 4 software (4.2.1) not jailbroken.
But i'm receiving an error 1013 and cannot restore. Iphone is now stuck with usb picture on screen.
All suggestions appreciated

First...try a different usb port...if that yields no change, here's the fix:

I also had the same problem restoring after a JB and that seemed to do the trick.

Make sure that iTunes is closed while you're performing the operation described in the tutorial linked above so that the registry changes will stick, then reboot the computer just to be super safe, and then you should be good.

Man, I wish someone told me this when I updated. Lol, I heard that if you have TinyUmbrella installed it messes it up.
