iPhone 4 Initial Charge time?

Since im a new iPhone user I want to dive into all the iphone goodness (it is sitting right in front of me), but im a stickler when it comes to proper battery break-in.

So what is a good amount to time to let this think charge before I go hog wild?

Ok, well since no one responded... I let me charge for about 4 hours before activating. Now I come to work and I have HORRIBLE signal quality which I would assume is causing my battery to drain. In the meantime I've turned off 3g in the hopes of conserving as much battery as possible.
