iphone 4 help

hello everyone i am new here i need some help please . today all my apps that i have downloaded will not open they just flash the screen and go back to the home screen , i have shut the phone off and turned it back on and still doing the same thing , also i downloaded a new app last nite for state farm insurance and deleted that in case that was the issue but still having the same issue . please help. thank you

I would do a restore and add each app individually to single out the one that might be doing it

no not jailbroken i will try a restore since i am new to the iphone is that where i plug into the pc and itunes and restore from there

Yes, i believe you click on your device once it is done syncing to itunes and you should see the restore tab. sorry if there are other steps as i am doing this from memory as i dont have my itunes available to me at this moment

have you tried rebooting your iphone?

This, try a hard reset first. Hold the home and power buttons down until you see the silver apple logo on the screen and let it reboot (ignore the power off slide, keep holding through that prompt).

The adding a new app should have worked. The state farm app did you download it before or after issue? Usually downloading a random app does the trick
