iPhone 3g included USB cable tearing

i have that same problem. and honestly it kind of ticks me off. no other cable i ever had with my ipods did this.

Same thing is starting to happen with my cable.. Just noticed this the other day but immediately knew Apple likely wouldn't replace it

My cables haven't had that problem yet, though the dog tries her very best.

Just noticed my 3GS cable is tearing half way on the phone end and starting to on the USB end.
