iPhone 13: To upgrade or not to upgrade?

Do I think the iPhone 13 models are different enough for me to upgrade from my iPhone 12 Pro? Nope. With that being said, I was never the type to care about the camera of the iPhone, but I must admit the photos I’ve taken with my iPhone 12 Pro are straight up awesome and if the camera of the iPhone 13 Pro is even better then upgrading is something to consider.

That’s good to know because the camera on my X is raggedy compared to my 11 Pro I’m seriously considering upgrading my X.

Yep going to upgrade my green 11 Pro Max to the sierra blue 13 pro. I have a regular 11 for work and I like that size slightly better in hand vs my Max and now that the 12 Pro and above have the same size as the non Pro phone this is perfect. I was on android during the 4’s so I’ve been wanting the square sides also lol. I had a catalyst case on my X that gave it that feel and I really liked it.

I did seriously think about getting the non Pro but really wanted the extra camera features. I used my 11 Pro Max on a trip to Ireland a week after they came out and honestly my DSLR stayed in its bag 80%of the time. Getting $500 trade for the current phone is nice as well. Apple store app is already prepped with the payment, carrier connection, model, etc for Friday and case is pre-ordered from Mous.

You’re going to need a new case because the buttons shifted down slightly and the camera bump is bigger, plus the phone is a little thicker.

I have nearly 2/3 of the storage still available on my 12ProMax, I got the blue color, which i never see due to the red case. I have never run low on battery.. I don't see enough changes to get me excited enough to buy a new home. Phone is still pristine, never been out of a case, never been without a glass screen protector... maybe next year. I skipped the 11th version too, so maybe I am sticking with even number releases?

Unless your the type of person who needs new latest and greatest phone, I feel if you have an iPhone 12 or even an iPhone 11. There is really no need for an upgrade. But anything older then that and you feel you need to upgrade, it will be a much more noticeable improvement

I totally agree with you. I have the 11 pro max and only reason for upgrading is the camera and I use my phone for my YouTube. Besides that not really

I got 500 towards my s21 trading in the wife's 8 so she got my 12 mini. I just ordered a blue pro 128 to replace my mini.

For those of you thinking the cases will work, they most definitely will NOT!

Here's a good video showing the difference. Mainly the button position shift and the camera cutout is MUCH larger on the 13!
