iPhone 12 Pro Max battery at 98% and always recharges to 98% (never 99% or 100%)

Anyone else have this issue with their iPhone 12 (any version?). Not sure why it always show 98% regardless of how long charged. Anyone have a fix on a brand new phone?

I only fully charged mine once to 100% and once I took it off the charger around 70%.
The first time it charged up to 100% without issue.

I have had mine since Friday... so it's been on the charger overnight for Friday and Saturday night w/o going higher than 98%

Likely Not a battery issue. Most likely the % not showing properly. You can try and calibrate it, by running the battery down to 1%, then charge it back up to 100%. This used to work. No clue these days.

Just happened to me. Go to Battery, Battery Health and turn off Optimized Battery Charging. It fixed my issue. Was stuck at 98%. It is 100% now.

I never do that... and most people don't do that... it's not necessary or recommended for these batteries.
