I read on a different site, 9to5Mac IIRC, that USB type C microphones and webcams are now supported by iPads, with iPadOS 17.

I’ve installed it on my iPad Pro and thus far, it’s performing well.

Have it on my iPad mini no issues at all so far. One thing I would of liked to see on the iPad also is the same standby mode that they added to the iPhone

Running it on my iPad Pro 11”. No issues so far. Haven’t tried an external camera yet.
