ipad won't update all reminders from iPhone 5s

after struggling several hours today to try to get these 2 device to sync with one another over iCloud without success, i decided to try the forum.

i have 7 reminders on iPhone 5s but only 5 show up in iPad.

anyone have any suggestions?

You have several lists under Reminders, Can the other 2 be under one of them you are not seeing or have they marked completed. Hit show completed to see if the other 2 are there.

Go to Settings-Reminders and make sure that the "All Reminders" option is selected under the "Sync" section.
