iPad Pro for work

Hi,

I’m in car sales but I also do a lot of video editing for YouTube. I want to be able to transfer files from my video camera SD card AND my iPhone to the iPad Pro. Is it as easy as using an SD card adapter for the video camera? Or should I just get a MacBook Air?

Maybe there are follow up things I need to mention or ask. Thank you in advance.

I don't generally use the adapters and prefer transfers to a cloud/premises account such as OneDrive or iCloud. That way the data is available all over and safe if one device is broken or stolen.

With iPadOS yes it will be fairly easy .
