I want to reduce the number of photos on my iPad. if i delete photos there will it also delete my photos on IPhoto on my Macbook Pro?
Don't want to lose those!

I would recommend using a third party solution (in addition to iCloud if you use that) such as OneDrive or Box.net or DropBox to back up the pictures.

Then you will not have to worry about deleting them on your iPad as that will not cause them to be deleted from the cloud drive.
