im thinking of buying an ipad mini after christmas.i already have a mac book pro but its not the most portable device. im not sure if it its worth and if there any better tablets for the same price

It really depends on what your needs or wants are when it comes to a tablet. You seem to want portable and that's the ipad Mini.

I've been thinking about buying an iPad mini as well. I've never purchased a tablet (so to speak), but I do have the Blackberry PlayBook that I WON in a CrackBerry contest. Maybe it's time to UPGRADE.....SMILE
