Can not get iPad to work with mail server using IMAP interface.
The server runs SSL/TLS security. With iPad configured for SSL
and port 993 (the correct port for this), it fails to connect.
The server log file says:
aborted login (no auth attempts) <ipad_ip_addr> <server_ip_addr>
Looks like iPad is not trying to authenticate properly.
Server works with lots of other clients on Windows and Linux.
Also, it looks like you are required to store you password on the iPad
which is a major security hole, considering how easily these can be stolen.
