iPad and iPhone charger

Can somebody tell me What's the diference between iPad and iPhone charger?

The iPad charger has a slightly higher charge and will charge the iPad faster than the iPhone charger.

The iPhone charger puts out 5w of power... the iPad charger puts out 10w of power.

The Apple website lists all iPods and iPhones a compatible with the iPhone (5w) charger, and all iPad, iPod and iPhone models as compatible with the iPad (10w) charger.

Right. But 10 watts will charge your iPad twice as fast as 5 watts.

iPhone charger will not charge a iPad it says not charging but iPad charger will charge your phone twice as fast
