iPad air charging problem

I did not use my iPad air during last two months. It was switched off. Yesterday when I tried to use it, it was not opening and showing empty battery. But it is not having charged. When I try to charge my iPad air, it showing the sign given in the following picture.

Did anyone face this problem before? Or do you have any idea on how to solve this problem?

Just give it a chance to charge for a bit. The battery is so low that it is not going to show anything until it has had a bit of charging time.

Keep it plugged in for several hours. I personally would charge for around 8 hours then try.

I plug it more than 5 hours yesterday and today but nothing happened
