I don’t recall ever experiencing anything like that. Have you tried resetting all settings and then seeing if you can shut down the device?
Yep, tried all of that...had the same problem with using the iOS 11 PB on my iPhone 6, but a hard reboot fixed that issue. Going to try it again tomorrow.
