Ipad 1 keeps shutting off for no reason

when i use most apps on my ipad 1, the device keeps turning off. I have reset the ipad to factory defaults, losing all my progress in my game apps, but it still keeps shutting off. what should I do?

Could be the battery is at the end of its useful life... find a repair place that can diagnose the device for a definitive cause and solution.
