iOS Public Beta 12 v. 2 - Updating WatchOS

Running the v.2 of the public beta and the new WatchOS dropped today. When I go to update the watch, it throws an error that the phone could not connect to Apple Watch, even though I have the green phone icon on the watch and I can move apps around on the honeycomb via the phone. Anyone run into the same issue? I have rebooted the phone twice and the watch once — no help. Not really wanting to unpair and reset, unless someone has had luck with that.

Reporting it to Apple also.

I had the same error. I had to delete the beta profile, reboot both devices and then it worked.

You can add the profile after the update

Reported the issue to Feedback and they said there was something did on their servers to resolve the issue and it worked.
