iOS in the Car today gets its formal introduction, only with the slightly less wordy moniker of Apple CarPlay. Previously rumored to be headed to the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show, Apple in a press release confirmed this and that demos will be carried out by Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo. Apple also announced a bunch of other partners for the venture, including BMW, GM, Ford, Hyundai and many others.
