iOS 9 spotlight search does not locate contacts

Since ios9 my contacts do not show in a Spotlight search. This is major for me as that is how I locate contacts. It is far quicker than going into the Contacts file.

Try going to setting then general, spotlight search. Turn Siri suggestions off. Then turn it back on. That should fix it. Did for me.
