iOS 7 Beta 6 to iOS 7 GM

Okay so I downloaded ios 7 beta 6 without a developer account. Am I supposed to downgrade to ios 6 to upgrade to ios 7 GM? I read somewhere to just download ios 7 GM and just update that way but if I do that will I have to manually download every update after that?

No. Just do the GM version. You will then be on the GA version, as well... future updates will come through Settings > General > Software Update.
