iOS 7.1, White Noise from Speaker in text box

I noticed after installing iOS 7.1, when you are in a text box, such as in the messages app or the search box in mail, white noise is emitted from the right speaker. If you don't have the cursor in a text box the noise disappears. Tried it on the phones of a couple friends and they do the same thing.

Maybe it was there before but I never noticed.

Yup. You're right. I had to put the speaker up to my ear to hear it. But, it is there.

A friend's wife figured out that it is somehow linked to the keyboard click sounds. If you go into sound settings and turn off keyboard clicks the issue no longer occurs.
