I loved that dock more than the dock in iOS 7 & 8. You forgot about iBooks looking like a bookshelf in iOS 6. I wonder how that background used in Notification Centre would've looked on the 6 and 6+ in actual person?

I loved the look of iOS 6, but the new design has grown on me and now it does look a bit dated. There are some aspects or looks I do like better. I would love it if Apple allowed themes and you could theme your phone to look like an older version of iOS...I would do it just for sentimental reasons!

I have an old ipod touch which still rocks the old look, so I don't miss is completely.

I still prefer the skeumorphism of icons and Dock and that fabric look of Notification Center. LOL, I can't help it. Have to admit that day/night visual was among my favorite.

But goodness, the dial pad and Messages do look bad. So I would say overall I am meh about the new flat look.
