iOS 17 Developer Beta 1

Although I come across an occasional quirk, the dev beta is stable enough to be a daily driver in my opinion. I’ve submitted a ticket to Apple with regard to Safari not truly clearing history, cache and website date with iPadOS 17. It seems to work as it should on my iPhone though.

Thanks. I may pull the trigger when I get home. Really want to give offline maps a try, especially if I can get away from Google maps.

Standby mode is awesome, in my opinion. I typically have it display the clock and the temperature while my iPhone is charging overnight.

Not sure just yet. Really did it to give Apple offline maps a shot in an effort to get away from Google Maps.

So far I’ve discovered that with one offline Apple map, I got the entire state of SC, western NC, Greensboro and surrounding areas, which is 95% of my travel area. With Google I had to set three offline maps for the same areas.

Prior to using Standby mode on my iPhone, I was using it as my nighttime clock and alarm on my Watch, but it can’t compare to using it on my iPhone.

I have noticed that when u wake up the phone from standby the back ground picture behind the apps is stuck In landscape mode lol
