I'll confirm within the next 15 minutes or so, but I am currently running the latest iOS 16.6 beta, and when I checked for the iOS 17 update, I saw it and then selected it to install. Right now, it is in the "Preparing Update" stage.

Interesting, I was able to download without a developer profile. I decided to not renew this year. However, after downloading, all traces of any beta profile are gone.

Same here. The installation just finished and all is well thus far. I’m getting ready to go through each installed third party app to see if they still work.

All my apps are working so far. Few iMessage/Storage/Battery percentage bugs. I'm more curious if we will get beta 2...

I recall them saying that beta profiles are discontinued with iOS 17.

Have fun testing everyone. I decided to pass this year and stay on GA. My work no longer involves qualifying iOS, iPadOS and macOS for production devices and there is nothing that is a deal-breaker for what I have seen.

It’s been months that I deleted the dev profiles from Watch and iPhone but For some weird reason I’m able to download the iOS 17 update to my iPhone.

Those are no longer required.

Apple moved it to a software update setting in iOS 16. Of note, it might require an Apple Developer account to be signed in.
