Has anyone checked out the Weather App yet? I read on MacRumors that there are some changes on that App... including the addition of a moon module!

I just loaded it up but nothing would refresh all I kept getting was - - for the temp and wouldn’t let me do anything but I will keep trying it out and seeing what comes up

Finally got it to load up this is what I can see when I scroll to the bottom of the actual app not sure if it was in the old version cause I never really use it lol

And when u click on the moon part u can scroll in realtime how the moon looks each day in like hour increments so I’m guessing it is more then what it used to be

I see all of that, too. In fact, we’ve been having rain for the past few days and the native Weather app has been on-point in this new beta. I heavily criticized it for not being consistent previously.

My AirPods Pro 2 keep saying they can’t be tracked in my find my app. Says I have to finish setup.

PS - anyone have any hints on how to get live voicemail working, reporting is that it is seperate to visual voicemail, but I’m not so sure.

It is tuned on in settings, as is visual voicemail for me, however the feature isn’t working. Maybe not ready for use, or perhaps an issue.

Visual voicemail is by the phone carrier, not Apple.

I took some time this evening to put my iPhone in DFU mode to install the .ipsw file for iOS 17 and then set it up as a new device. So far, everything is working quite well. I’ll finish setting my Home Screen and logging into various apps tomorrow.

Are you using NextDNS by chance?
Mine wasn't working on esim with TMobile.
I had to create a profile and add vvm.mstore.msg.t-mobile.com to the whitelist.

To me the keyboard is a lot better

Interesting. While I do have a beta profile, I’ve never had a developer profile, nor have I ever downloaded any profile to this phone (14PM), yet I have the options.

I did install 17 Developer Beta on my iPad. Just can’t pull the trigger on my phone and watch, which I also have the option on.

Yea something messed up in their new system that gave everyone access to the developer beta since they done away with the profiles

I don’t know if it’s even active yet cause it hasn’t worked on my phone yet but even when mine is on silent I do get a ding noise when I get a incoming call so that might be something with it

The keyboard or more importantly, autocorrect and predictive text have improved quite a bit.

Although I come across an occasional quirk, the dev beta is stable enough to be a daily driver in my opinion. I’ve submitted a ticket to Apple with regard to Safari not truly clearing history, cache and website date with iPadOS 17. It seems to work as it should on my iPhone though.
