Settings still shows a notification badge asking me to verify my recovery key and won’t go away. Guess that’ll be fixed in a future release.

I did notice a bug I reported to Apple for Dev Beta 1 is back. If you visit a couple of we pages and then go to Settings → Safari, and then scroll down to select "Clear History and Website Data" it is suppose to do just that.

However, if you scroll down and select Advanced → Website Data, you will see that the cached site listing even though each displays 0 bytes.

It's been like that for years. I think there must be a reason. 8 or 10 years ago, I used to regularly Clear History and Website data, then go straight to Advanced > website data, and delete all that. It seemed at the time to mostly be advertising data.

It hasn't been like that for me until iOS 17 Dev Beta 1 and now again at Dev Beta 5. Like many of us old schoolers, I still clear cache and Website Data after each internet session even though I don't visit nefarious websites. I just like being tracked and seeing ads for something I might have been looking at on the Best Buy website. Know what I mean?

I have the beta and just downloaded the beta 3 today. But my issue hasn’t improved/no solution. My ringtone and notification sounds do not work. Anyone have a solution. I have tried a soft reset and a hard reset and still not working properly.

It’s this might not work but:
You should go into sound and haptics and make sure “change with buttons” is off and the volume slider is all the way up.

I went there regularly a couple years back then and cleared the data. I studied that data to see what it was. I stopped looking at it at some point. So maybe they stopped leaving that data there at some point. I have noticed recently, when I Clear History and Website Data, there's nothing there in Advanced. But haven't checked in beta 5.

Just checked it in Advanced. Then went back and Cleared History and Website Data. Then went to Advanced. It was all still there. All of it. That's not how it behaved years ago. Only some would remain. Not all.
