That’s common sense. Why would the price not drop for iPhones that are no longer supported?

Strange news. No longer os supported iphones should lose their value quickly, shouldn’t they?. My understanding is Apple will release security patches for year or two, so it still has life.

Side note: Long live the 6S Plus! IOS 16 makes it the countdown to the official end. The GF still has hers (the 6+ was my first iPhone). That was a 2015 purchase, 7 years of running the latest OS. Outstanding. But I am keeping it quiet regarding Apple security patches for 6+S. She needs a new iPhone and this is it, she’s getting the iPhone 14! :)
