It stands for “Release Candidate”.

Sometimes (although very rarely) referred as “Gamma” release, it’s the last stage before the release to the public or production phase.

I’m not seeing the ability to answer calls on the Siri announce section. Is anyone else seeing it?

Public Beta was released yesterday...I would guess (and only a guess) that the "official" release would be sometime middle of next week.

I’m not seeing the ability to answer calls on the Siri announce section. Is anyone else seeing it?

I didn’t see any settings for it, but Siri offered me to answer a call yesterday without any settings changes.

Also, Siri “Announce Messages” is no longer working for me, like at all. Same for “Hey Siri” on AirPods.
