IOS 11 question

Since updating my 7+ to IOS11 my phone keeps turning on Live Photos. I HATE(yes HATE) Live Photos. I have turned it off in settings and even set my camera setting not to revert. What am I missing. I never had this issue before. It is driving me crazy. TIA.

Even if I preserve settings it'll turn flash back to the previous setting or turn Live Photos back on. Interestingly enough it only does it on my 7 Plus. My 8 Plus has preserved it's settings so far. It's only rarely, and who knows, I may be brushing something when I turn my camera on.

A clean install won’t hurt, except for maybe the time it takes to get everything like it was.

I had to restore my Watch a few weeks ago and I’m glad I did.

Restoring as new - at least in my experience - makes the device run cleaner and smoother.
