I like the idea of adding a file system as many users are but it’s kind of primitive in today standards.

But hopefully this is just an intro to bigger and better control on the end users side.

What’s your take on it ????

Weak, in my opinion. Definitely not what I was wanting and hoping for. Nor does it benefit my workflow at all. It's cool in theory. But it doesn't go far enough. I'm not sure we will ever see a true file management system in iOS.

Good in that you can avoid storing files in the cloud while still making them available to all the apps on your device.

Otherwise quite weak. Apple needs to improve iCloud so that apps like Scrivener could easily sync their data there. I really hate having to use a third party app - that’s the whole reason iCloud Drive was supposed to exist. Otherwise. Why even bother?

The app is okay. It supports tagging and the UI is fine enough. But, this is still iOS. Anyone expecting anything near what you get with Android file managers was kidding themselves. Lol

That’s why I still keep an old Android phone around.
