My iPhone 6S+ is now a brick...thanks! Probably spend the rest of the afternoon trying to get it back. What a POS!

I did mine OTA and had no issues whatsoever. Have you tried putting it into recovery mode? Maybe a trip to the Apple Store is in your future.

Same here (iPhone SE, 64 GB). Something's wrong with the update, it would seem.

Same here. It downloaded seamlessly and I was about to praise Apple for the non-issue of downloading right away. Usually the servers are hung up. I'm at work without access to iTunes and after updating OTA, my 6s is a brick. Cool.

It's happening for some users... if you have backups and iTunes available you'll be able to recover and restore and update... will just take some time.

I backed up to iCloud right before I started the download but I still have to wait about 3 hours until I'm home to fix it.

I just downloaded it on my 6s plus. Now saying connect it to itunes? itunes is now updating to 9.3.5 which I had on phone before.

My iPad Air is fine, but my iPhone 6s 64 is connected to iTunes on life support. Recovery is hopeful.

Same issue here. The update bricked my 6s. I'll try the iTunes route. Any possible work around?

Grabbing the update from iTunes worked (after I had to do a restore due to failed OTA update)

i'm just lucky i have an old Mac downstairs that has iTunes. But the download is uber slow to get back to 9.5.3

UPDATE: After first brick error, I restored back to 9.3.5 and tried to download and install again....... SUCCESS! Hope you guys have the same luck after retry.
