international messaging with Iimessage?

I am looking to move from blackberry to iphone4 for my wife and 4s for myself. My daughter has 4s in Scotland, will I be able to imessage her? I am in US.

As long as you both have a data connection (or wifi) and iMessage set up, you should be able to do so.

iMessage is great for texting friends and family all over the world without the $$.

My daughter is in England and I am in the US. iMessage has saved me lots of $$. You should both be fine as long as you have it setup correctly.
