Interested in Education development?

Hello!

I teach middle school math. This is tough transitional math that seems to have been skipped over at times in app development. I wan to create HTML5 offline iPad applications that deliver digital manipulatives needed in a math classroom.

I guess I am looking for advice.. I know html, css and have some background in java and c++. For some reason I never got around to javascript. It has been years since I have programmed anything and I am a busy teacher. Does anyone have any advice for learning javascript to help develop these apps?
