Instagram photos not being added to album

Hey all. I got an iPad last week, and in setting it up decided to enable uploading photos to iCloud so I could work with my photos on both it and my iPhone 8. But now I’m experiencing something odd. While the photos I post on Instagram still save to my camera roll as always, they’re no longer automatically added to my Instagram album as well. Any ideas how I can remedy this?

Did you try deleting Instagram and installing it back?

I did. I deleted the app, restarted my phone, and reinstalled. Same thing happened—the photo saved to the camera roll, but not the Instagram album.

I see that this is the case for me too. I don’t mind that, to be honest.

Thanks. Honestly, knowing that it’s happening that way for someone else makes me feel better—I was afraid I’d screwed up a setting somewhere without realizing it. But if it’s because of a software update, no big.

For now, you can create an album for Instagram and add those photos to it.
