instagram and twitter notification sounds

hi i'm new to iphone just got it yesterday and i am not getting a sound with the notification for twitter and instagram and some other app to like ups but it work in other apps like nest and whats app i checked all the settings and there are all set to sound on for notifications

Go to Settings, then Notifications, and then check the apps you are looking to get notifications for, you might have to turn each one on, or you may be defaulted to all off. ALSO check the silence switch on the side of your device, make sure it's not on silence (It will show a reddish orange IF its silenced)

For twitter and Instagram you have to enable notifications per person.
You have to do this in the app itself.

 

[Ledsteplin]

After turning on notifications in Settings > notifications, then go in Twitter and to a person you want individual notifications for. Then tap the bell to enable notifications for when that person tweets. I don't do Instagram.
