Info on the LifeProof case

So my uncle who works for the company told me the case for the iPhone 6 Plus wasn;t being released until around thanksgiving (he said thanksgiving but I am not sure he meant that exact day). Just just in case anybody wanted to know. Also he is going to send me a free one as soon as they give them away to them. So I will even keep posted when I do and all the information!!

yeah. I have been trying to find a case for my iPhone 6 plus and I don't want something bulky but at the same time I need something oops-proof because I am clumsy. So I can't seems to find anything... then I remembered my uncle works for LifeProof haha. I guess I could even wait seeing as how my estimated shipping isnt even until november 9-27!

Weird they'd wait so long to release the device cases when they had a marketing video ready to go on the announcement day...I just don't see these cases being held over until November.

Doesn't really bother me much since I doubt I'd buy another Lifeproof case again anyways, but I mean if he is who you say he is, he'd probably know best right? That just sucks because if they had it ready to go, they'd KILL with sales, especially with this being the first iPhone that people are really wanting to get into a case right off the bat.

I just received a beautiful case in mail from X-Doria.. I mean gorgeous on my 6 plus.. I'm dying to add a pic, but I'm not sure how.. Lol

They come in silver and gold. So nice ..so reflective.. Hard to get good pic..sides are nice as well

They did the same thing for the 5S case last year... they didn't come out until late oct/early november.... took FOREVER on the iPad Air case too, prob rigorous testing in and out to make sure they don't fail underwater is the only thing I can think of, I'll be rocking the spigen tough armor electric plus with AppleCare + until then ... come on Thurs, gonna be like christmas between the device and case lol

What about Otterbox I know they bought Lifeproof so I was not sure if you could find out a date for those as well?

Related question for your uncle: How will the Nuud Lifeproof protect the home button? My BF has the 5S, and the Lifeproof Fre, and the membrane covering Home wore out fairly quickly. I need a case that will be waterproof.

I plan on buying a different case and then waiting for Lifeproof.

My uncle works for Lifeproof too and says your uncle is going to get fired for leaking sensitive information.
