I received the notice that iMore app on my 4s has an update. I tried updating, but I am prevented because it requires iOS6. Why??? I am jailbroken don't want to update to iOS6 yet. Don't understand why you would make an app REQUIRE iOS6, drag. To not be bothered by the notice on the screen, I guess I'll just delete the app. Sigh.

Apple has removed support for any app prior to iOS 4.3 due to new requirements supporting newer hardware.
Meanwhile, looking at the forum app, I only see where iOS 5 and 6 support has been added, not that iOS 6 is required.
You can roll back to the older version if you were syncing to iTunes. A quick Google search will show you where to find the older version on your PC or Mac, and how to install it.
