iMessage not working

my text messages are now sending as just text messages and not sending as iMessage how to fix. iMessage is turned on

For the first time since purchasing my device, I, too, am having trouble sending iMessages. I'm assuming the trouble is on Apple's end. I've turned iMessage off for the time being.

Try turning iMessage off, reboot, then once it boots back up turn iMessage bk on. Can always iMessage yourself to check if it's working again. Rinse & repeat if it doesn't work the first time.
