I see the benefit but a hard no. One main reason, do a quick lookup on YT of wire shark trace of Windows XP vs Windows 11 comparison. These are OS right out of the box, no apps installed, just a review of who-what-where the OS reaches out to on the internet.
Watch Windows 11, see what domains it reaches to, unheard of domains that have almost otherwise zero footprint on the web. The data collection is out of hand, Microsoft is all in. With everything moving to the cloud it is just too tempting for corporations not to use the information to figure out your every move. It is out of hand.

I use iMessage quite often, and my iPhone is next to my computer screen. I don't see or feel the need to have iMessage on my PC at work.

I can see the benefits of using iMessage on a PC when engaging in long message conversations. Much easier to type long messages on a computer than on my iPhone.
