iMore Question

Currently I am on a family sharing plan, however the main credit card is owned by my parents. I would like to purchase an app, with my own credit card. Is there any way to work around this without switching the main family sharing credit card? Such gifting the app to myself, or any other method I have not thought of?

Welcome to iMore! I believe that only the organizer of the Family Share plan can change payment methods. Alternatively, you might be able to purchase an iTunes gift card at a retailer (most grocery stores and drugstores have them) and then apply that to your account. I'm just guessing though.
