If phone has black screen can it be reset?

I have a samsung galaxy note 2, I dropped it picked it up green light was flashing on top, But screen is black, On off button works, Volume button works, swipe finger across front works, I can actually remember where to touch screen to turn it off, The button on the bottom center works, But the areas on each side of it that you touch dont work. Ive been getting phone calls but cant see it to answer it. HELP PLEASE.
