Okay, I'm with sprint and I want to change my cellphone number, once I do that is it possible i can still switch with Verizon Wireless?

Are you referring to porting your number ?

Say number is 444-1234 on sprint change it to 555-1234 then move number to Verizon ?

Then yes you can port your number it auto cancel your current service also

Why port if your going to change number anyways just got get Verizon service with a new number

Hmm, You're right, I can change my cellphone number with Verizon.. I will do that next month.
