If I block a call and then clear my recent calls, will it take the block off

I seem to be getting a lot of calls from out-of-state and I don't know who they are. I am thinking they are sales calls so when they come in I block them but they stay in my recent calls If I clear my recent calls will the blocked calls still stay

The blocked list is separate from the recents...so, clearing recents will NOT undo the block...

They will stay blocked if your clear Recents. You can confirm this by going to Settings>Phone>Call Blocking & Identification. Your list of blocked numbers will be located there.
